Courtney T. Gilbert joined the Gilbert & Gilbert firm in 2009. Her practice areas include criminal law, family law, juvenile law, civil litigation, and real estate matters. Mrs. Gilbert is a former Brazoria County Assistant District Attorney. During her five years as a prosecutor, Courtney tried over fifty jury trials to verdict.
Mrs. Gilbert received her B.A. from the University of Oklahoma in 2001 and her J.D. from Texas Tech School of Law in 2003. While in law school, Courtney was a member of the Board of Barristers.
In addition to her law practice, Courtney is a member of the Junior Service League and the Chairperson for the Southwest SIDS Research Institute.
Courtney Gilbert is a member of the State Bar of Texas and the Brazoria County Bar Association. She is currently licensed to practice before all Texas state courts.
Courtney and her husband, Justin, live in Lake Jackson, Texas.
